Becoming a member of EMBC is more than adding your name to a list - it’s choosing to belong, to grow, and to participate in the shared life and mission of our church family. Membership reflects a commitment to follow Jesus alongside others, to serve with your gifts, and to help shape the future of EMBC.

Membership Course

Before joining, we invite everyone to take part in our Membership Course. This short but meaningful course gives a clear picture of what it means to be a member at EMBC. Together, we explore:

• What we believe and how we live it out
• What it means to belong to a church family
• Opportunities to serve and use your gifts
• How financial giving supports the ministry and mission of the church
• The responsibilities and privileges of membership

It’s a relaxed, informative space where you can ask questions, meet leaders, and discern whether membership is the right next step for you.

Members’ Meetings & AGM

As a member, you play an important role in the decision‑making life of the church. Throughout the year, we hold several General Meetings where we share updates, pray together, and discuss key areas of church life.

Once a year, we gather for our Annual General Meeting (AGM). This meeting includes essential church votes - such as approving budgets, affirming leaders, welcoming others into membership and other significant decisions. We rely on our members to attend so that these votes can take place and the church can move forward with unity and clarity.
