We continue in our focus on Acts 2:42-47 where the early church shows us what happens when a community chooses to love like Jesus: they stay together, they meet each other's needs, they keep Jesus at the heart, and praise with joy. And because of that love-in-action, the witness of the early church was powerful - God changed lives daily.

Continuing our study of Acts 2:42-47, we look at how prayer shapes our love for God and for one another. Prayer isn’t an add-on - it’s how we stay connected to the God who made us for relationship with Him, especially when busyness and self-reliance pull us away. We also turn to John 11, where we’re reminded that even when God says “no,” His answer is always rooted in love.

This week's message invites us to slow down and remember the sacrifice of Jesus - not as an abstract idea, but as the centre of our own lives and faith, just as the early church did with deep devotion. We explore how sin can feel heavy, yet we are reminded that Jesus has already broken its power and opened a way back to God. His sacrifice isn’t distant; it’s the place where our hope, freedom, and identity are rebuilt.

In this week's message, we return to Acts 2:42-47 and explore what it truly means to be devoted to fellowship. The early church didn’t treat community as optional or convenient - they gave themselves to one another with sacrificial love. If we want to burn brightly for Jesus, we can’t do it in isolation. We need the presence, encouragement and fellowship of other believers.
