Following on from last week, God’s love, grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ continues to call us to a response. This week in Ephesians 4 and 5 we hear through God’s word about our “lifestyle” response. God is looking to shape our lives to be people of love, light, wisdom and Spirit filled.

Unity should be a defining mark of the Church, but how do we keep the unity Jesus has achieved for us? In Ephesians 4 we learn that unity is both our response to Jesus love and our reflection of Jesus love. It is a unity kept through character, truth, diversity and spiritual growth.

God presence made all the difference to Joseph. The greatest encouragement we can know as Christians is that God is always present with us. Here are some verses that remind us of the presence of God, Exod 33:14; Jeremiah 29:13; Acts 3:19-20; John 15:9; Matt 18:20; 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 have some folks read them allowed and then spend some time, resting in God presence.
