We currently run a Food Coop every Monday from 10:30am-2pm, selling fresh fruit and vegetables at affordable prices. On Wednesday 2nd December we will launch our Harvest Store which will replace the current Food Coop. The Last day of Food Co-op as it currently runs will be Monday 23rd Novem-ber. In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables we will also be selling a selection of cupboard food, clothing, toys, white goods and furniture. Therefore we are now taking donations of items for our Harvest Store:

  • Good quality children’s and adults clothing, shoes & bags
  • New / Unopened Children’s Toys
  • White goods in working order
  • Good quality furniture

Clothing and toys can be deposited in collection bins which will be in the church

With all ministries we require volunteers to make it work. For Harvest Store and Community Care we require volunteers for the following:

  • Harvest Store: Sorting items at the unit on Mondays (times to be arranged)
  • Harvest Store: Selling of goods at Harvest store on Wednesdays 9.45am-2.15pm
  • Food Bank Drop In: volunteers to serve our users on a Wednesday and Friday between 11am-1pm
  • Drivers to collect/deliver heavy goods (various times)
  • Drivers to collect shopping (speak to Karen about days/times)

For more information on any of the above please speak to Karen Dornan
