I hope this finds you well and enjoying the longer evenings. It’s good to be able to walk home in the daylight from late nights at school.
As I write this it’s not long until the Spring Break at school which coincides with Easter this year. I’ll be travelling to see Dad, as well as visit friends who I’ve not seen for several years. The friends live on a farm near the coast, so I’m doubly looking forward to the time with them.
Churches here in Albania are seeking to reach out to, and share the good news of Easter with those around them. This year GDQ school is involved in supporting an ongoing outreach project to Roma children. Pray for the children at the club: for Marsida, a girl who has become a Christian in March : for Sybela, a girl who begs on the streets with her siblings and for Elio, a boy who gets picked on because he has a learning disability.
GDQ School (5-18) needs several teaching staff for the next academic year. Skype calls have taken place with some interested/potential teachers but many positions still remain unfilled at this stage. Please look at the GDQ website for further information on staffing needs.
Thank God that since the end of January I’ve been able to have a day/week to do language study.(I still plan the full teaching week at school.) It’s so good to be able to have this time. Pray that I’ll be able to retain and then recall more quickly what I’m working on with my language teacher.
God bless you all,
